Disney, Fox’s Death on the Nile opened at number 1 at the box office this weekend with $12.8 million, which is underwhelming considering this star studded cast. However this is expected due to older moviegoers still not wanting to return to theatres due to this pandemic. This can be seen in ticket sales as 77% of tickets brought were aged over 25 and 28% over 45.
The other new Movie to release this weekend was Marry Me( staring Jenifer Lopez) released simultaneously on Peacock and ended up debuting at No 3 making around $8 million. It was beaten out just slightly by last weeks winner Jackass forever, which got $8.1 million.

Uncharted also opened in 15 international markets this weekend, including the UK, and made $21.5 million and is set to open domestically on Friday.
