Netflix Top 10- 1899 debuts strong in the weekly charts!!!!

Netflix has release its weekly viewing numbers for the week of November 14-20.

In English language TV shows The crown kept first place with 84 million minutes watched. This is strong performance but nit as strong as season 4 brought in which shows that some of the conga rise surrounding this latest season may have put a few people off. The highly anticipated 1899 series also released a debuted at a strong number 2 with over 79 million minutes watched. This is especially good for this type of shows as it is a mixed language shows and really shows the lengths that have been made in foreign content all over the world.

Dead to Me premiered with softer numbers with just over 30 million hours watched, however this is most likely due to the fact that it’s episodes are only around 30 minutes whereas the other shows above it average around an hour an episode.

Now moving over to films. In its second week on the service Falling for Christmas managed to score number 1 with over 37 million minutes watched. This is promising for Lindsey Lohan who is trying to make a comeback. If these numbers keep up she will most likely be getting more deal coming down the pipeline. However the opposite can be said for Jason Momoa as his film Slumberland was much more expensive and only debuted with 33 million minutes. The key with this film will be if it can gain minutes in its second week.

Netflix’s newest Christmas movie of the week also had a much softer debut with only 17 million minutes. Enola Homes is also still doing good in its third week with another 21 million minutes. I would keep an eye out for an announcement in the next few weeks regarding a third film.

That’s its for Netflix’s Top 10 this week. What did you watch?
